Trust

I sit and watch,
The autumn shine reach in,
And kiss your grey smudged hair.
Your cheerful, lined face,
Light dances in your soft eyes;
Smiling sadly at your glowworm.
You are sad in your happiness,
For you cannot believe and have faith.
Trust me.
I love you.

I'm really glad you've started this second blog. These are great poems. I can't wait for the next installment.

It gives me a real thrill to have such positive comments, thank you, again!

I very bravely plucked up courage and asked David to read some. Once. Never again. I think he said something along the lines of, "It's ok. Don't know much about poetry. Shouldn't it rhyme or something?"

Not very encouraging.

Thanks David! At least he was honest...

I hope that one day I can write as well as you. You seem to make the words fit together so well and almost flow into each other. It's amazing.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such lovely comments. I'm finding the response to my poetry very positive and encouraging and I really am very appreciative.

I now regularly visit your blog too, which is very interesting reading, just thoughts straight from the heart, refreshingly honest.

Take care x
